FIELD: radio equipment and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radio transmission device and method. Device and method use the signatures table containing access types, DL CQI indicator, and uniquely correlated to each other signatures. In this table of signatures, the DL CQI indicator level is established for each access type in compliance with amount of data sent/received prior to data transmission, after random access asynchronous channel (RACH) transmission. If the access type is “inactive”, then the amount of data is larger compared to the other access types, and the DL CQI indicator will be set equal to level 1–6. If the access type is “active”, the amount of data is less compared to other access types, and the DL CQI indicator is set to be less than level 3 and greater than level 4. In addition, if the access type is “handover”, then the amount of data is average compared to other access types, and the DL CQI indicator will be set equal to level 1–3 or higher.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of the resources utilization efficiency increase without increasing or reducing the number of signatures.
