SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to cast iron compositions. Can be used for casting products operating under thermal loads, for example casting forms. Cast iron contains, wt. %: carbon 4.0–4.5; silicon 0.8–1.0; manganese 1.2–1.6; chromium 0.1–0.15; barium 0.001–0.005; erbium 0.15–0.3; aluminium 2.2–2.6; rest is iron.
EFFECT: cast iron has a high thermal resistance.
