SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication and, in particular, to control elements (CE) medium access control (MAC) (hereinafter MAC CE). In accordance with one embodiment, a method of operating a wireless terminal includes the steps of: configuring (1503) a first group of component carriers; and in the configuration with the first group of component carriers, (1505) communication is performed with respect to the first MAC CE including the first bitmap having the first bitmap size, with bits of the first bitmap corresponding to the respective component carriers of the first group of component carriers; configuring (1503) a second group of component carriers, wherein the first and second groups of component carriers are different. In the configuration with the second group of component carriers, (1505) communication is performed with respect to the second MAC CE, wherein the second MAC CE includes a second bitmap having a second bitmap size with bits of the second bitmap corresponding to the respective component carriers of the second group of component carriers. Moreover, the first and second sizes of the bitmap may be different.

EFFECT: method of wireless terminal operation is proposed.
