SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology, therapy, general practice, neurology, and can be used to reveal the hidden ineffectiveness of the treatment of arterial hypertension (AH). Identify for the patient: sex, age, body mass index, diastolic blood pressure in orthostasis, the number of antihypertensive drugs taken, and the reception/absence of receptor antagonist receptors for angiotensin II. Based on these characteristics, the value of the coefficient of latent ineffectiveness of treatment of AH (COPN) is calculated. If COPN is equal to or greater than 0.1144, the patient is diagnosed with a high probability of latent AH treatment failure. And if COPN is less than 0.1144, the probability of latent treatment inefficiency is considered low.

EFFECT: method allows to detect latent ineffectiveness of treatment of hypertension in patients with the achieved clinical blood pressure with the high probability by evaluating the complex of the most significant indices.
