FIELD: medicine, cardiology, therapy, general medical practice and neurology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the latent ineffectiveness of arterial hypertension (AH) treatment in winter in patients aged 40 years and older with targeted clinical and outpatient arterial blood pressure achieved after antihypertensive therapy pressure (BP) in the summer. During a visit to the clinic in the summer, 24-hour monitoring (ABPM) is performed, age, smoking status, systolic blood pressure (SBP) in orthostasis and 24-hour average SBP in the aorta are assessed. Each parameter is assigned a certain number of points in accordance with the developed score. Then, using a mathematical formula the value of CIIOBPW parameter (the coefficient of an isolated increase in outpatient blood pressure in winter) is calculated. If the value of CIIOBPW is more than -1.7, the patient is predicted to have a hidden ineffectiveness in the treatment of hypertension in the winter period. If the value of CIIOBPW is less than or equal to -1.7, it is predicted that there will be no hidden ineffectiveness in the treatment of hypertension in the winter period.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to predict, before the onset of the winter period, in patients who have reached the target indicators of both clinical and outpatient blood pressure in another season, hidden ineffectiveness of the treatment of hypertension, and to form groups of patients in advance for planning ABPM in winter in order to clarify the effectiveness of antihypertensive therapy, as well as to more effective manage the risk of cardiovascular complications.
