METHOD OF EVALUATING THE EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF ANTIHYPERTENSIVE THERAPY USING EMERGENCY BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING AT THE PREHOSPITAL STAGE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B5/22

Abstract RU 2798712 C1

FIELD: medicine; hospital therapy; cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in emergency antihypertensive therapy at the prehospital stage. Blood pressure is monitored during the day with the patient's normal daily activity within 24 hours from the start of emergency antihypertensive therapy at the peak of blood pressure. Based on the results of monitoring, the rate of pressure reduction from the beginning of therapy to the target pressure of 140/80 mm Hg is determined, after which the average arterial pressure and the variability of systolic and diastolic blood pressure are determined for the period from the time the target pressure is reached to the time the apparatus is removed. Then, based on the obtained indicators, the effectiveness and safety of emergency antihypertensive therapy are evaluated.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the efficiency and safety of emergency antihypertensive therapy at the prehospital stage by monitoring blood pressure by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
