SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar technology and can be used to increase the effective scattering area of objects in a wide range of wavelengths. This result is achieved due to the scattering layer deposited on the surface of the arrow-shaped rereflector in the form of a log-periodic antenna, and the rereflection of broadband signals is ensured. Giving the scattering layer a fractal shape in the form of at least one Sierpinski triangle with a height parallel to the axis of rotation of the arrow-shaped rereflector increases its effective scattering area up to ten times in the wavelength range exceeding its size.
EFFECT: providing the maximum possible signal reflected by the rereflector in the wavelength range exceeding its dimensions.
