FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for capture of dripping liquid from gas flow and can be used in various industries. Two variants of gas-dynamic vortex separator are proposed, including a body with inlet fitting, a separating unit of curved separation plates, an input device equipped with a separation device, a cover and a branch pipe, equipped with gas and liquid outlet branch pipes and a partition separating the separation unit from lower part of body. In the second variant, coalesce unit adjoins external generating line of the separation unit. When the first variant of separator operates, gas containing dripping liquid enters in input device tangentially through inlet branch pipe and is directed along upward spiral along the wall of the latter. In the field of centrifugal forces, the first stage of liquid separation takes place, which is removed by means of a separation device into the lower part of the body. From the gas space, the last gas entrained in liquid is directed through the pipe to a repeated separation into the axial part of the input device. Gas flow with the remaining finely divided dripping liquid, while maintaining rotation, enters channels between plates of the separation unit, liquid from the plates flows down the partition into the lower part of the body and is discharged, and purified gas along the annular parietal space is directed into the outlet branch pipe. In the second version of the separator, purified gas is subjected to additional purification in the coalesce unit.
EFFECT: reducing specific amount of metal and increasing degree of separation.
