FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for trapping an evaporating dropping liquid and mechanical impurities from a gas stream and can be used in various industries. Gas separator for removing the dropping liquid comprises a vertical cylindrical body with an inlet nozzle, the outlet of the gas in the upper bottom and the drainage connection of the liquid in the lower bottom, the partition in the lower part of the separator, the input device providing the tangential supply of the separated flow, and an inner annular separation unit between the partition and the upper bottom. In the axial space of the separator, below the partition, there is an input device, which is connected to the separation unit and is equipped with a separation device and a cover with a branch pipe connecting the axial region of the input device to the gas space of the bottom of the separator. In the paraxial space of the separator, above the partition, a heat pump is installed, and its evaporator is located in the axial region of the separation unit, and the condenser in the cleaned gas manifold formed by the outer generatrix of the separation unit and the housing.
EFFECT: technical result is the complete removal of the dropping liquid and mechanical impurities from the gas stream.
