SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for capture of dripping liquid from gas flow and can be used in various industries. Gas-dynamic separator includes a cylindrical body with an inlet nozzle, a gas outlet port in the upper bottom and a drain connection of the liquid in the lower bottom, a septum at the bottom of the separator, a separation block consisting of curved separation plates, a vertical partition in the form of an Archimedes spiral connected to the hammer body and forming a deflector and a pocket for trapping the liquid. Clearance between the body and the separation unit is half the gap on one side on the other hand. When the separator operates, the gas containing the dropping liquid enters the deflector through the inlet branch and is guided along the downward spiral along the wall of the housing. In the sector from the inlet pipe to the point of minimum clearance between the separation block and the housing, the first stage of separation in the field of centrifugal forces of the largest drops of liquid takes place, which are deposited on the surface of the housing and then drain into the bottom of the separator through the annular gap between the housing and the partition. Portion of the gas-liquid mixture then enters the pocket where it is separated into a gas returned to the separated stream and a liquid flowing down to the bottom of the separator. Gas stream with the remaining fine-dispersed dropping liquid enters the separation block. Design of the separator ensures uniform gas loading and a high degree of separation in the second stage. Liquid flows from the plates to the lower part of the housing, and the purified gas is sent to the outlet pipe.
