SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the piston (40, 40', 40'', 40'''), for example, for the control valve (110) in the vehicle compressed-air system, which can be installed in the cylinder (92) with possibility of axial displacement along the longitudinal central axis (68) so, that it separates the cylinder first space (64) and the second cylinder space (66) from each other, and which (40, 40', 40'', 40''') has circumferential annular groove (42) with approximately rectangular cross-sectional geometry, into which a sealing ring (50, 51) can be inserted, which, by its free end, can adjoin the cylinder (92) inner working surface (90), and after its insertion into the piston (40, 40', 40'', 40''') annular groove (42), together with at least groove one wall (44, 46), limits at least one pressure maintenance chamber (52, 54). According to the invention, it is further provided that the piston (40) in the its annular groove (42) area has at least one axial opening (38, 39; 70, 72), which connects at least one pressure maintenance chamber (52, 54) to the corresponding first or second cylinder space (64, 66).
EFFECT: as a result, independent of the sealing ring (50, 51) possible geometric deformations pneumatic or hydraulic connection between at least one cylinder space (64, 66) and the corresponding pressure maintenance chamber (52, 54) is established so, that failure-free operation is guaranteed.
