FIELD: catalytic components.
SUBSTANCE: for applying a catalytic component to a substrate (2), a ring (5) for supplying a fluid medium, a device (1) for applying a coating to a substrate, and a method are proposed. The fluid supply ring (5) comprises an annular body (40) having an inner surface (45) delimiting the central channel of the fluid supply ring. The inlet fluid receiving hole (47) receives the liquid, and the plurality of outlet holes (50) on the inside of the annular body discharges the liquid onto the surface (23) of the piston of the substrate coating device (1). The distribution channel (51) extending at least partially around the annular body (40) provides fluid communication between the opening (47) for receiving the supplied fluid and the plurality of outlets (50).
