Since diffusion of the body fluid into body fluid inflow portion (17) is provided, and the body fluid is absorbed and retained in the superabsorbent resin (18) at the side edge portion of the absorber, it is possible to retain the absorbed amount in the absorber (4). Even when the superabsorbent resin (18) absorbs water and swells, body fluid inflow portion (17) is prevented from blocking, so that it is possible to prevent a decrease in the absorption rate.

EFFECT: absorber has been developed in which, even in the case where the concave groove-shaped inflow portion of the absorber is formed in the absorber, the rate of absorption of the body fluid is not reduced, and thus the absorbed amount can be retained.
