ABSORBENT PRODUCT CONTAINING FOAM MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61F13/537

Abstract RU 2712654 C1

FIELD: satisfaction of human vital needs.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an absorbent article comprising liquid-permeable topsheet (7), liquid-impermeable backsheet (8) and absorbent core (11) enclosed between upper sheet (7) and rear sheet (8), wherein said absorbent core (11) comprises absorbing fibrous layer (9) and foamed layer (1) for fluid inlet, wherein absorbent core (11) comprises liquid inlet zone (23), central in transverse direction and extending in longitudinal direction of absorbent core, wherein in said zone foamed layer (1) for liquid inlet contains multiple inlet holes (3) covering zone (23) of fluid inlet, wherein said zone (23) of liquid inlet has width (M4) in transverse direction, which is equal to minimum width (M3) of absorbent fibrous layer (9) in transverse direction or less than width (M3) maximum by 9 mm, and wherein side edge areas (5, 6) are located in front and rear parts (15, 17) of absorbent core in transverse direction outside of liquid inlet zone (23), wherein said foamed layer (1) for fluid inlet is free from fluid inlet holes in side edge zones (5, 6), and a method for manufacturing absorbent article (100), comprising steps of: cutting (130) of slots (2) in central zone (4) of continuous foam web (101) for fluid inlet and transverse stretching (131) of said web in a direction transverse to the machine direction, until zone (4), central in longitudinal direction, will not have width (M4) in transverse direction, which is equal to minimum width (M3) of absorbent core (122) in transverse direction or less than width (M3) by maximum of 9 mm, whereby slots (2) are expanded to holes (3); application (132) of adhesive on continuous web of conveying material (110); connection (133) of continuous web of foam material (101) for fluid inlet and web of transporting material (110) into combined web (125) and cutting (134) of components (126) with inlet foamed layer from combined web (125); supply (135) of absorbent components (122); insertion (136) of component (126) with inlet foamed layer and absorbing component (122) between continuous webs of material (107) of upper sheet and material (108) of back sheet; connection (137) of at least top sheet material (107) and back sheet material (108) along outer edges of the absorbent product; cutting (138) of combined material with specified shape, resulting in absorbing product (100).

EFFECT: absorbent article is disclosed.
