SUBSTANCE: absorbent article includes a liquid-impervious sheet forming an outer surface, an absorbent component, and a liquid-permeable sheet forming an inner surface. These components are superimposed on each other in the specified order and connected. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction that corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the body of the user of the absorbent article, and a width direction that is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The absorbent article has a middle zone that includes a zone facing openings for releasing body fluids, which faces an opening in the human body for releasing body fluids, a front zone that is connected to a front part of the middle zone, and the posterior zone, which is connected to the posterior part of the middle zone. A chemical product-carrying section is formed in at least one front zone and a rear zone of the absorbent article, wherein the chemical product-carrying section is a section in which the chemical product is applied to a surface other than the exposed surface of the absorbent article.

EFFECT: compressed part is provided at a distance from the chemical product-carrying part on a straight line that connects the centre of the area facing the body fluid release openings and the chemical product-carrying part.
