Method of producing absorbent product (100), comprising steps of: cutting (130) of slots (2) in central zone (4) of continuous web of foam material (101) for fluid inlet and transverse stretching (131), whereby slots (2) are expanded to openings (3a); application (132) of adhesive on web of transporting material (110); joints (133) of foamed material web (101) and web of transporting material (110) into combined web (125) and their cutting, resulting in absorbing product (100).
