FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for electrolysis of aqueous-salt solutions comprising a housing, a diaphragm electrochemical reactor separated by a shallow porous diaphragm into an anode and cathode compartment provided with inlet and outlet nozzles. Device is characterized in that it has a cylindrical body, the diaphragm electrochemical reactor is made in the form of two coiled planar springs, separated on one side by a small porous diaphragm made round, and on the other hand clamped by anodic and cathodic electrodes forming channels for the flow of liquid with the possibility of obtaining a turbulent flow and equipped with outlet nozzles in the center of the electrodes for separate withdrawal of anolyte and catholyte, anodic and cathodic electrodes through the seals are pressed against two flat concentric windings with leads for connecting a pH control system containing a power source, an optocoupler pair, an amplifier with a potentiometer and a conductivity sensor, one winding wound clockwise and the other winding connected in parallel with the power supply and in series with the anode and cathode chambers.

EFFECT: use of the proposed device allows increasing the redox potential and water treatment efficiency, reducing energy consumption for processing and increasing efficiency.
