FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining an electrochemical activated disinfecting solution is achieved through electrolysis of the initial solution in a reactor, made from one or more electrochemical cells with coaxial cylindrical electrodes and a fine-pored diaphragm in between them, dividing the inter-electrode space of the cell into anode and cathode chambers. The length of the electrode chambers is 100-1000 times bigger than the inter-electrode distance. The initial solution is supplied to the anode chamber, and an electrochemical activated disinfecting solution is taken out. An auxiliary electrolyte is supplied to the cathode chamber and a treated auxiliary electrolyte is taken out. The initial solution is drinking water with mineralisation of 0.1-0.5 g/l, saturated with carbon dioxide gas to concentration of 0.1-0.5 g/l. The unit for preparing the initial solution is made in form of a saturator, joined to a source of carbon dioxide. Supply of the initial solution to the anode chamber and supply of the auxiliary electrolyte to the cathode chamber is done counter-flow.

EFFECT: invention allows for obtaining a disinfecting solution, which does not contain chlorine, with high biological activity and extraction capacity with lower expenses on production; the invention also allows simplifying the device and lowers its maintenance costs.
