DEVICE FOR OBTAINING WATER SOLUTION OF OXIDISING AGENTS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C02F1/467 C25B9/00

Abstract RU 2326054 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to devices for electrochemical synthesis of activated water solutions of oxidising agents. The device consists of a membranous electrochemical reactor, electrodes of which are separated by a fine-pored membrane in an anode and cathode chamber with inputs and outputs, a separator for separating the gas and liquid phases of the catholyte with input in the middle part and the outputs in the upper and lower parts. The input of the cathode chamber of the reactor is joined to input of the separator. The device also consists of a fresh water delivery line, delivery line for concentrated chloride solution of an alkaline metal, a unit for mixing fresh water and the concentrated chloride solution of alkaline metal, outlet line for water solution of the oxidising agents and an outlet drainage line with a regulating valve installed on it, joined to the upper outlet of the separator. The separator is in the form of a foam reactor, the volume of which is not less than two volumes of the cathode chamber. The fresh water delivery line is joined to the input of the cathode chamber, and a water-jet pump is installed on the fresh water delivery line in front of the input of the cathode chamber, and the suction line of the pump is joined to the lower output of the foam reactor, while the output of the pump is joined to the input of the cathode chamber. A filter, pressure stabiliser and a flow sensor are serially installed on the fresh water delivery line in front of the water-jet pump. The unit for mixing fresh water and concentrated chloride solution of alkaline metal is made with two inputs and outputs. One input is joined to the delivery line of the concentrated chloride solution of alkaline metal and a proportioning pump is installed on the line. The second input of the unit is joined to an extra line from the fresh water delivery line.

EFFECT: obtaining solutions of oxidising agents with a stronger antimicrobial capacity, better detergent properties, lower corrosive activity and longer storage periods.
