FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Aluminum alloy contains 5.4–6.4 % of calcium, 0.3–0.6 % of silicon and 0.8–1.2 % of iron. In form of castings that do not require heat treatment, the alloy has the following mechanical tensile properties: ultimate resistance (σv) not less than 180 MPa, percentage extension (δ) not less than 1 %.
EFFECT: production of sparingly alloyed corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy with high and stable mechanical properties is provided.
