SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, specifically to aluminum-based alloys, and can be used in the production of castings of complex shapes intended for the manufacture of loaded parts, including for responsible purposes. The aluminum-based casting alloy contains, by weight percentage: Si 5.0-12.0, Cu 3.0-4.0, Sn 0.04-0.20, Fe 0.1-0.6, Mn 0.15 - 0.5, aluminum and impurities being the rest, while the alloy has a liquidus temperature no higher than 630°C, an equilibrium solidus temperature no lower than 515°C and a structure after heat treatment containing an aluminum matrix with microhardness of at least 130 HV and eutectic silicon crystals and phases Al15(Fe, Mn)3Si2.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at creating a cast aluminum alloy based on the Al-Si-Cu system, which does not require the use of toxic and expensive alloying components and has increased strength characteristics after aging.
