FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinder, for example for making drinks. Electric grinder comprises grinding mechanism for producing a powder from food product by relative movement of two or more adjacent elements and control unit configured to control operation of grinding mechanism. In this case,control unit is configured to perform processing for switching to grinding inhibition mode to prevent grinding process of food product by grinding mechanism after food product is grinded by grinding mechanism until the predetermined condition is met. In this case, the grinding mechanism is configured not to grind food product even if a grinding command is introduced in grinding inhibition mode.
EFFECT: prevents heating of grinding mechanism.
