FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to power unit control devices. Power unit control device comprises a feedback controller configured to determine an input control action for the power unit during inputting a target value of pre-determined quantitative parameter of the power unit state, so that the quantitative state parameter follows the target value. Reference controller is adapted to adjust the initial target value of the quantitative state parameter during inputting the initial target value, so that the upper limit for the quantitative state parameter is satisfied, and to output the corrected initial target value to the feedback controller. Reference controller is also configured to determine a target value satisfying an upper limit equal to a possible target value, which is selected from the possible target values including the initial target value, and which minimizes the value of the predetermined estimation function. Reference controller is also configured to set a target value satisfying an upper limit equal to the upper limit value, when the value obtained by replacing the variable of the differential function obtained by differentiating the evaluation function with respect to a possible target value by the upper limit value, is greater than or equal to zero during the violation of the upper limit by the initial target value. Said evaluation function is represented by the first element and the second element. Moreover, the first element is configured to have a greater value in proportion to the square of the interval between the possible target value and the initial target value, and the second element is configured to have a greater value in proportion to the value of violation of the upper limit by the future value of the quantitative state parameter. Future value of the quantitative state parameter is predicted using a model of the n-order function taking the possible target value as a variable, where n is a positive integer. Embodiment of the power unit control device is also disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced computational load by adjusting the target value of the power unit state quantitative parameter with the limit for the quantitative state parameter.
