FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, to oncology specialty. Needle device is used to position submammary fold during subcutaneous mastectomy. Total length of device is 95 mm, with two ball-shaped retention elements disposed at the distal end with a radius of 3.5 mm. Device consists of a flexible tubular sleeve and a needle. One retaining element of a spherical shape is attached to the tubular sleeve, the other retaining member is attached to the needle. Tubular sleeve is made of polyvinyl chloride, 75 mm long and 2 mm thick. Tubular sleeve has a fluorescent coating of 4–6 mcm. Needle 1 mm thick does not contain a cavity and is made of a titanium alloy. All constituent elements are biocompatible with human blood and tissues.

EFFECT: created simple and convenient device allows to provide good visualization of the submammary fold in the case of mini-access, improves the aesthetic result of the operation, reduces the traumatization of tissues.
