SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of human tissue by bipolar electrodes is carried out means of a device for treating human tissue by high frequency currents. First and a second bipolar electrodes comprise two different electrodes arranged with gap L. Electrode gap L is the distance between the centers of surfaces of the individual electrodes. Two bipolar electrodes have a different electrode distance L between the individual electrodes. Gap L of the bipolar electrode is determined depending on thickness d of a dermis layer of the tissue in the treated area or on parameters corresponding thereto and/or on electrical tissue reflection coefficient k on the boundary of the dermis layer facing away from the tissue surface, or on parameters corresponding thereto. Cosmetic treatment of the human tissue is made by application of high frequency currents by means of the bipolar electrode.
EFFECT: more accurate determination of the depth of significant energy input is achieved.
