FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: test device (TE) for testing, particularly calibration, of an analysing device (AE) for analysing light effects caused by operation of a high-frequency surgical instrument. Testing device (TE) comprises a test device configured to create a test plasma light effect, light from which is received by a light detector. Method of testing, in particular calibration of an analysing device (AE) for analysing light effects generated by a high-frequency surgical instrument. Method includes creation of test light effect between test device and electrode. Light from this test light effect is received by the light detector. Method is preferably implemented by a surgical team member, particularly a surgeon or a surgical assistant.
EFFECT: use of present group of inventions improves solution for operation of system with analysing device intended for analysis of light effects caused by operation of high-frequency surgical instrument.
