FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to biotechnology, in particular to a method for predicting resistance to infectious necrosis of the pancreas in salmon and a method for selecting salmon for use as a producer. Alleles present in DNA polymorphism in salmon are determined, with DNA polymorphism selected from the group shown in Table 1. Salmon producer is selected based on the prediction in the above way.
EFFECT: inventions provide a direct analysis of the resistance of salmon to infectious necrosis of the pancreas, while maintaining the possibility of using a proven animal as a producer.
