SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for identifying a canola plant having resistance to a black pedicle. Method involves detecting, in a canola plant, at least one marker linked to resistance to a black pedicle. Invention also relates to a method for producing a canola plant having resistance to a black pedicle. Said method comprises crossing a first canola plant comprising at least one marker allele, which is positively correlated with black pedicle resistance, with a second canola plant to obtain a population of canola plants and identification of a canola plant from a population having black pedicle resistance.
EFFECT: invention enables effective identification of a canola plant having resistance to a black pedicle.
