FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method relates to the technology of producing heat-resistant ceramics with reduced firing temperature and with increased strength and can find application for the production of ceramic materials of technical purpose, in particular ceramic lining, as well as other products operating under conditions where high thermal stability and strength are required. In the production of ceramic products based on clay, organosilane additive and catalyst by mixing and calcining them in a non-oxidizing (inert) medium, roasting is carried out in sequence in two stages: first, the ceramic mass is heated to 350 °C for 4 hours, then the temperature is raised to 950 °C for 1 hour, 1 to 3 % by weight of polydimethylsilane is used as the organosilane additive, and 0.05 to 0.1 % by weight of cobalt chloride as the catalyst.
EFFECT: reduction of the firing temperature in the production of heat-resistant ceramic products of increased strength.
