SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cleaning of parts from a sealant, in particular to a method for cleaning mixing mills from VIKSINT silicone sealants of cold curing. Method for removing the VIKSINT silicone sealant from the surface of the milling cutter after mixing its components, including the mechanical removal of the sealant, characterized in that, according to the method after mixing, the milling residue contaminated with sealant residues is kept in air for 3–24 hours until the sealant enters the rubbery state. Further, the residues of the rubber-like sealant are removed manually. Final cleaning of the milling cutter is carried out using a cloth material moistened in a nefras or acetone.

EFFECT: reduced labor intensity along with maintained efficiency of purification.
