FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorption-active materials used to separate and clean various gas and vapour mixtures, to clean water surfaces from oil and oil products and to clean waste water from protein toxicants. A method of producing porous material 2 by moulding via thermobaric pressing a composition at pressure of 127-128 kPa and temperature of 115-125°C for 2-3 min, said composition containing 30-80% cellulose and 18-20% low-density polyethylene with particle size of 0.06-0.15 mcm, obtained through simultaneous action of high pressure and shearing deformation in extrusion-type equipment at temperatures close to the melting point of low-density polyethylene, 1-25% carbon material with particle size of 0.03-50 mcm and 1-25% fine silicon dioxide to obtain cylindrical granules.
EFFECT: porous material is an effective and porous sorbent.
