SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the electronic DC circuit for supplying power to the load and the method of its operation. To this end, an electronic DC circuit is proposed that includes a DC capacitor, a starting circuit for limiting the input current to a predetermined level, which is connected between the power supply line of the DC capacitor and the input, the starting circuit comprising a charging resistor element, a switching element connected in parallel with the charging resistor element, and a control means of the switching element, the control means being arranged to include said switching element, when the input current falls below a preset current level, the control means comprising a trigger element that is configured to detect a differential voltage on the switching element and turn off the switching element, when the detected differential voltage rises above a predetermined threshold voltage.

EFFECT: technical result is to protect the electronic circuit by limiting the input current and protecting it from excessive voltages.
