FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrumentation and is directed to a gyroscope at N-V centers in diamonds. In the method, the gyroscope includes a diamond plate, a source of green light, an optical system for directing green light to the diamond plate, a photodetector for detecting the fluorescence of color centers in the diamond plate, optical elements that allow fluorescence to be directed from the diamond plate to the photodetector, a microwave source, a source of radio-frequency radiation, and a source of a constant magnetic field. In addition, the gyroscope contains an energy efficient microwave antenna, creating a strong longitudinal homogeneous field in the full volume of the crystal with the possibility of frequency tuning. Also, the gyroscope is made with the possibility of associating the frequency of the microwave field to the transition in the color center.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the volume of the sensing element of the sensor and increasing the specific spectral sensitivity.
