SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing mobile applications with situational user contexts. To this end, a plurality of space-time contexts (STC) are stored in computer memory, with each STC representing a situational environment as a function of location and time. Mobile user device is associated with at least one of the STC based on, for example, the location of the device and the current time. Associated STC are provided to an application interested in delivering context-specific data to the user of the mobile user device.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling delivery of relevant content without disclosing the locations of mobile users and other personal data.
