FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the guided weapons and can be used to control the artillery formation combat actions during the preparation and in the course of enemy fire destruction by guided and unguided projectiles. Artillery formations control method in the event of enemy fire engagement includes the enemy facilities coordinates identification and topographical survey by means of technical reconnaissance means, including use of the unmanned aerial vehicles, coordinates transmission to the artillery formation senior officer control panel through the digital radio communication channel, artillery formation guns positions topographical survey, reception and further accounting of the shooting meteorological conditions at the artillery formation senior officer console with the help of portable automated meteorological system. Then, performing the shooting settings calculation for the specified target, sending messages from the artillery formation senior officer console to the gun terminals via the digital radio communication channels, shooting settings display on the gun terminal screen of each gun and their implementation on the gun and projectile. At that, data from the technical reconnaissance means are coming directly to the senior officer's console, bypassing the artillery formation commander's console. Then via the digital radio channel the artillery formation senior officer transmits a message to the gun terminals, which contains only the target data and the shooting parameters. Shooting settings calculation takes place at the guns terminals. With this message arrival at the gun terminals, response message is generated about the fact of the shooting settings calculation and its transmission to the artillery formation senior officer. For the guns positions more accurate topographic survey on the artillery formation senior officer console the high resolution base continuous coverage is used.
EFFECT: increase in the artillery formation coordinates survey accuracy, reduction in the shooting settings calculation time, which in general will lead to reduction in the cycle from the moment of the enemy object detection to the moment of opening the fire and increase in the artillery units firing combat effectiveness.
