FIELD: military technology.
SUBSTANCE: method for artillery fire consists in the fact that the ballistic firing conditions are specified for each gun by measuring the initial velocities of each shot by a laser system installed on each gun. The deviations of the initial velocity of each projectile of this batch from the value recorded in the operational documentation for the gun are determined. The nominal initial velocity of the projectile is calculated and stored in the memory of the control system. Sequentially, with each shot, the average value of the deviation of the initial velocity of the projectile is specified in the senior officer’s control system. The nominal initial velocity of the projectile is specified and stored in the memory of the control system. The corrections are calculated in the firing settings, taking into account the specified nominal velocity of the projectile of this batch of projectiles of each gun and the corrections are transmitted to the gun terminal of each gun via a digital radio channel.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of artillery fire.
