FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ultrasound diagnosis of soft tissue tumors and can be used for carrying out puncture-aspiration and trepan-biopsy of tumors of soft tissues under the ultrasound (US) control. Initially, the patient’s area under investigation is scanned in the B-mode with visualization of the tumor. Then the ultrasound scanner is transferred to the echo-contrast mode. In the B-mode, the distance between the sensor and the tumor shall be minimal. Next, the echo-contrast drug is administered and the tumor perfusion is immediately evaluated in the echo-contrast mode. Material is taken from the most perfused section of the tumor.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the traumatization of the patient, reduce the number of non-diagnostic biopsies, obtain the most diagnostically valuable cytological and/or histological preparation, most accurately verify the tumor and start treatment as early as possible by means evaluating the perfusion of the tumor in the echo-contrast mode.
