SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for analysing animal feed. Method comprises digesting a sample of animal feed in vitro using at least one digestive enzyme to form digested animal feed comprising at least one residual component, scanning the digested animal feed using near-infrared spectroscopy to obtain spectral data; comparing the spectral data to a computer model to obtain a predicted concentration of the at least one residual component of the digested animal feed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to evaluate the effect of the enzymatic activity of feed on the energy value, the assimilated energy and the assimilability of phosphorus and sugar, and also to determine the presence of an enzyme additive in the feed.
