FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measuring equipment, in particular to the aircraft ground speed and the crab angle measuring methods in autonomous navigation systems using electromagnetic waves. In the aircraft ground speed and the crab angle measuring method, consisting in the underlying surface irradiation with radio waves by two antenna systems, each of which is oriented at an angle of θ from each side from its axis in the horizontal plane and at an angle of β0 in the vertical on, reflected waves reception, mixing with part of the emitted waves and the two Doppler signals selection, calculation of Doppler frequencies ƒD1 and ƒD2 by these signals spectra maxima, additionally setting the radio waves radiation different frequencies for the first and second antennas ƒ1 and ƒ2, selecting the difference frequency signals between these two radiated S0 and received Sψ waves, passing the Sψ signal through the tuned to the frequency filter F=ƒ1-ƒ2, measuring the phase between signals S0 and Sψ – ψ, by the Δψ phase change relative to the reference signal S0 for the time interval Δt determining the velocity WY vertical component, by the ƒD1, ƒD2, and WY values calculating the ground speed W and the crab angle ϕ.
EFFECT: increase in the measurement accuracy.
