FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular, to devices of ground speed measurement of vehicles using Doppler effect for electromagnetic waves. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in the device, containing series-connected super-high frequency generator and directional coupler, series-connected antenna, circulator and mixer, wherein the main output of the directional coupler is connected to input of the circulator, and the auxiliary outlet is connected to the second input of the mixer, as well as a computing unit, has a sawtooth voltage generator, switching unit, first and second spectral processing unit and unit for calculating cross-correlation, wherein the sawtooth voltage generator is connected to the input of the super-high frequencies generator, one input of the switching unit is connected to the output of the mixer, and the other is connected to the control saw-tooth voltage generator output; the first input of the unit for calculating mutual correlation is connected to the first output of the switching unit through the first spectral processing unit, and the second input is connected to the second output of the switching unit via the second spectral processing unit, and the output is connected with the computer.

EFFECT: technical result is the increased accuracy of measuring velocity.
