MINIMALLY INVASIVE CATHETER Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61M25/00 A61M25/01 A61M25/04 A61M25/10

Abstract RU 2766731 C1

FIELD: catheters.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of catheters, in particular, to eversion catheters. The catheter is primarily intended for use as a urological catheter, but can also be used in other surgical and non-surgical medical fields. As a urological catheter, this minimally invasive catheter can be used as an indwelling catheter or as a temporary catheter for transurethral or suprapubic placement. The catheter contains a handle with an opening, a tubular membrane having a part partially enlarged to form a balloon, an inner tube attached to the handle and having a body and a distal part of the inner tube, a distal part containing side openings, an outer tube having a rounded tip, a proximal opening of the catheter, attachable to bags for biological fluids. The handle contains the proximal part of the handle, the middle part of the handle and the distal part of the handle. The proximal part of the handle has a detachable connection with the middle part of the handle, and the middle part of the handle has a detachable connection with the distal part of the handle. The middle part of the handle additionally contains a nut. The specified nut matches the thread of the distal part of the handle. The proximal part of the handle contains a nut. The nut shown corresponds to the thread of the middle part of the handle. The tubular membrane is slidable between the distal portion of the handle and the distal portion of the inner tube through the outer tube. The outer tube is in a fixed connection to the middle part of the handle. The inner tube body is mounted on the proximal part of the handle. The distal part of the handle additionally contains a proximal membrane attachment. The inner tube additionally contains a distal membrane attachment for tightly engaging the tubular membrane with the distal part of the inner tube. The diameter of the distal part of the inner tube is less than the diameter of the inner tube body. The outer tube additionally has lateral channels corresponding to the protrusions of the distal part of the handle, respectively, for sliding the distal part of the handle along the outer tube, an inner tube body with side channels corresponding to the protrusions of the middle part of the handle, respectively, said distal part of the inner tube with an opening at the end of the distal part inner tube and two side holes. A hermetically sealed space is integrated between the outer tube and the tubular diaphragm.

EFFECT: specified catheter is intended to reduce the incidence of complications associated with the use of urological catheters.
