Subject is presented with an object in each of the four quadrants of the video monitor, consisting of straight horizontal and vertical lines, at the end of which there is a mark in the form of an arrow, and a circle. And the horizontal and vertical lines are located along the axes of symmetry inside the circle so that the beginning of the horizontal and vertical lines is in the center of this circle. Obtain information from two double-axis manipulators of joystick type with handles in the initial center position, located in the left and right hand of the subject. In this case, the lengths of the straight horizontal and vertical lines, presented in the composition of the objects of the upper left and upper right quadrants, are chosen randomly. Lengths of straight horizontal and vertical lines, presented in the composition of objects of the lower left quadrant, correspond to the amount of deviation of the handle of the left joystick, respectively, along the horizontal and vertical axes. Lengths of straight horizontal and vertical lines, presented in the composition of objects of the lower right quadrant, correspond to the amount of deviation of the handle of the right joystick, respectively, along the horizontal and vertical axes. At the moment of the supposed equality of the lengths of the straight horizontal lines and vertical lines presented in the composition of the objects of the upper quadrants to the lengths of the corresponding objects of the lower quadrant, the subject presses the "Ready" button of the manipulator. After that, measure the time spent by the subject from the beginning of the test to pressing the "Ready" button, and the difference between the lengths of the corresponding straight horizontal and vertical lines located in the upper left and right quadrants, and the lengths of the corresponding straight horizontal and vertical lines located in the composition of the lower left and right quadrants. After that, the test is repeated a predetermined number of times and the time of realization of the motor tracking by the mathematical formula is calculated.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to expand the functionality of the methods for determining the rate of reaction of a person to moving objects by determining the time and accuracy of realization of programs of motor tracking by the person on horizontal and vertical axes.
