SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, medicine and veterinary medicine. Use of substituted hydrazones of 5-arylfurfurols is proposed selected from CL-192, CL-193, CL-195 or CL-196, given in formula, as intracellular inhibitor of brucellosis infection. Compounds have inhibitory activity against intracellular brucellosis infection and do not show significant cytotoxic activity.

EFFECT: compounds can be used to create alternative antibiotics or combined medicinal and prophylactic means of protection against causative agent of human brucellosis.
