FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely, to sealed connectors of deep-water multicore cables with low-voltage cables, which operate for a long time in sea conditions at high hydrostatic pressures. Device for hermetic connection of cables contains a housing with holes for cables, joints of conductors of cables, cable seals, sealing compound. Body is made in the form of a metal cup, equipped with a hermetically sealed in it metal cover with holes for cables, the cable glands are tightened with nuts acting on the seals by means of washers, the outer surfaces of the casing, the outer end surface of the lid and the adjacent cable surfaces are vulcanized with a rubber compound.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the strength of the device, as well as the level of tightness of the device.
