SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Method for producing laccase of a bacteria of Myrothecium verrucaria VKM F-3851 strain provides submerged cultivation of Myrothecium verrucaria mineral environment VKM F-3851, containing as a natural carbon source and energy, at least one component selected from potato, rye, wheat, buckwheat, oats, barley, corn, peas, beans, as well as NH4NO3, KH2PO4, K2HPO4, MgSO4x7H2O in the given ratio of components. Strain is cultured with stirring for 2–10 days and at a temperature of 29 °C until the maximum activity of laccase in the culture liquid is obtained, followed by separation of the mycelium from the culture liquid.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain laccase, capable of transforming phenylpropanoids.
