FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in the development of a reservoir of high viscosity and bitumen oil. Method of developing a reservoir of high-viscosity oil using paired horizontal wells, including the construction in the reservoir of a horizontal injection well and production well located below and parallel to the injection well, injection of a hydrocarbon solvent and steam to warm up the reservoir and create a steam chamber, transfer to the injection of steam into the injection well and take out products in the production well. Preliminary laboratory tests on the core sample of the reservoir determine the diffusion rate of a hydrocarbon solvent in a given sample in the vertical direction under the action of gravity forces under reservoir conditions. On the basis of this diffusion rate, the time of passage of the hydrocarbon solvent of the vertical distance from the injection to the production well according to the reduced mathematical expression is calculated. In this case, the hydrocarbon solvent is pumped into the injection well before the beginning of the formation heating by steam injection. In this case, the injection of steam to develop a pair of wells begins after the estimated time the solvent reaches the production well.
EFFECT: reduction of hydrocarbon solvent consumption at least a half times, reduction of energy costs by 15÷20 % due to the acceleration of output more than 2 times for industrial production of high-viscosity oil.
