FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering. Polarization selector consists of two identical sequentially connected sections, arranged coaxially, each of which contains a circular waveguide, with an attached rectangular waveguide. Each section contains two short-circuited stubs in a circular waveguide, and in a rectangular waveguide there is a rod-like probe that is connected by a loop vibrator. First selector section is installed in the first transceiver unit and is connected via a rectangular waveguide to the antenna input of the first transceiver unit, and the second section is installed in the second transceiver unit and is connected through a rectangular waveguide to the antenna input of the second transceiver unit. Second transceiver unit is connected coaxially with the first transceiver unit, rotated by 90°.
EFFECT: reduction of signal loss, coupling of transceiver units between themselves without introducing additional microwave paths in the "1+1" mode, in which two communication intervals are organized, through which the same information is transmitted, with automatic selection of the best communication channel.
