FIELD: measurement; testing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas production. Method for determination of true formation resistivity comprises: acquiring measurement values from a first receiver attached to a measurement tool based on measuring a signal of the first receiver, wherein the first receiver has a first tilt angle, and wherein the signal is transmitted by a transmitter attached to the measuring tool, and wherein acquiring measurement values includes making measurements during a rotation of the measurement tool, wherein the rotation of the measurement tool is partitioned into the number of bins, in which completion of the total number of bins is one complete rotation of the measurement tool, wherein the number of bins is more than one; determining virtual measurement values at a second tilt angle based on the measurement values, number of bins, first ratio and second ratio, wherein the first ratio is based on a first tilt angle and a second tilt angle, and the second ratio is based on the number of bins and the difference between the first tilt angle and the second tilt angle and determination of true formation resistivity based on the virtual measurement values.
