SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloy, used for making pipes, cylinders, machines parts and other articles. Iron-based alloy contains, by wt. %: manganese 0.5–1.0; chromium 1.8–2.2; molybdenum 1.5–2.0; nickel 0.8–1.2; cobalt 16.0–17.4; boron 0.05–0.15; vanadium 1.8–3.0; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by heat resistance.
