FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing vehicle reinforcing elements, such as an internal reinforcing element of a door frame, and more specifically to a frame type vehicle. In order to manufacture a three-dimensional internal reinforcing element of a vehicle door frame comprising at least one inner portion of the central pillar, the inside of the front pillar and the inner side of the side beam that joins them. Method includes the steps of manufacturing a substantially flat blank of the inner portion of the central pillar, a blank of the inner portion of the front pillar, and a blank of the inner portion of the side beam. Blank of the inner part of the central pillar and an inner part of the front pillar with an inner side bar preform are formed to form a substantially flat blank of the inner reinforcing portion of the door frame. Blank of the inner reinforcing portion of the door frame is hot-formed to form a three-dimensional inner reinforcing member of the door frame.

EFFECT: acceptable protection of passengers within the vehicle is achieved.
